Taxi from Palma Airport to Deià
- Distance
- 36 km
- Duration
- 35 min
- Solo fare
- 55 €
Deià is a stone village on the north-west coast of Mallorca, about 36 km from Palma Airport and some 35 minutes away once you leave the motorway for the winding Tramuntana road. There is no direct public transport from the airport, so the transfer is usually by car.
How to get from Palma Airport to Deià
Bus line 203 runs hourly from Estació Intermodal, about 45 min plus transfer time. You first need to reach Palma city centre from the airport, so the full journey easily doubles. A direct taxi, shared, is often the better trade-off.
What you pay when you share
Split between two travelers, the same ride comes to roughly 28 € each. With three passengers it drops further — the fare is per car, not per person.
Good to know
The last stretch is narrow and mountainous; drivers may not take large vehicles to the upper part of the village. Ask to be dropped at the closest point to your accommodation and expect the fare to be higher than the distance suggests.
